History of the Foam Party

Modern foam parties became popular in, wait for it, Ibiza, where there were held weekly at a club called Amnesia. Although, the concept of the foam party dates back to the 1930s. The short film A Rhapsody in Black and Blue had a scene where Louis Armstrong played his trumpet in a sea of bubbles.

In the early 1990s, the foam cannon was introduced in the UK by developers Roy Barlow and Robin Wincup. Thanks guys for such a great invention that we didn’t think of! We do love dancing in foam and having them at pool parties. Hope we make you proud, or at least rich.
