Justin Bieber and Dengue Fever

Richard talks about watching the new Bieber video after being sick with some sort of flu or Dengue Fever. Thankfully, he didn’t throw up on our $300 sofa!

If you are traveling to Mexico, be sure and read up on Dengue Fever. Although it is not horrible, it is something that people get down here since it is transmitted by mosquitos. It can take a 3 to 14 days to show signs of symptoms, so know before you go. Pack the ibuprofen, hydration packets, and a thermometer and you’ll be just fine.

Symptoms to watch for include:

fever / chills,
nausea, volmiting,
back pain, joint / bone pain, muscle pain,
pain behind the eyes, headache,
and skin rash.

We’ve met some locals that had it and it’s nothing to worry about. It will go away on it’s own.
